Like many other LIS subjects, students of government information suffer from a
lack of standard and to-date textbooks (especially Chinese texts). As such, no
required textbook exists for this class. The following is a preliminary list
of some useful book-length texts for understanding the course themes. More
useful texts will be announced on this course site as the class proceeds.
